Monday night Movie in Bryant Park


Free outdoor movie screenings are a welcome New York City tradition. Outdoor film festival in Bryant Park, Manhattan, brings classic films to the big screen for the 21st consecutive year.

The lawn opens at 5:00pm for blankets and picnicking. Films begin at sunset (typically between 8pm and 9pm).

Museum Mile Festival

The 35-th  traditional Museum Mile Festival offers free access to seven museums along Fifth Avenue from 6pm till 9pm on Tuesday, June 11.

The first festival, held in June of 1978, was an instant success.

Participating institutions include El Museo del Barrio, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of the City of New York. The event will start at 5:45 pm at The Jewish Museum (1109 Fifth Ave) face painting, live music and a whole lot of block party.
